Works for Me Wednesday
We have three boys to get ready every morning and the routine can sometimes be overwhelming with all of them yelling for help at the same time.
Unintentionally at first, I began staggering their wake up times – the one who takes longest to get ready gets up first. I was able to get a few things done for one before the next needed attention.
Now this has turned in to an incentive to get ready faster. Whoever takes the longest to get ready for school has to be the first one up the next morning. It seems boys tired from football practice the night before covet the few extra minutes sleep!
Anything that helps our mornings go a bit smoother works for me!
Also, you are invited to enter a Chip Ingram
Courtesy of WhitePost Media, I am giving away a brand new Bible Study kit from Chip Ingram, ‘Effective Parenting in a Defective World‘. It is a $99.95 value and an excellent small group resource. It includes 3 dvds, the teacher and learner guide. The drawing will be Friday so leave a comment by Thursday night ON THE GIVEAWAY POST ONLY to enter!~
This definitely works for us, too. I get our girls up about 10 minutes apart, and that little amount of uninterrupted time with each one makes a world of difference!
Great idea! Thanks! I have been dreading the morning rush!
I have three also, and this works for us. My youngest gets ready the fastest and needs the most sleep. Plus I get a few minutes with each.
Hmmm, I’m going to have to give that a whirl! Good tip.
Patty said you are joining us in Nashville for the conference!
I am so excited!!
E-mail me so we can exchange digits – hehe
