The Most Urgent Thing I’ve Ever Asked of You….
Girls, if there has ever been a time I have coveted your prayers, it is this day. I beg you not to read this screen and jump to the next blog without petitioning the Father in this most urgent time.
A dear family in our congregation has a 6 week old baby girl who had a biopsy done this morning for a lump that came up on her upper buttock. In the doctor’s words, it could be cancer. Now this is not definite, but still horrifying words for these parents and grandparents, loved ones and friends to hear. The biopsy report will not ready for a week.
For any of you who have done Beth’s study of Daniel – we know how to pray in this kind of situation:
1. To be delivered from the fire, 2. Through the fire, or 3. By the Fire….
It’s time for step one girls…..Our first prayer is that this mass is benign and sincere apologies from the doctors for scaring this poor family to death. Or better yet, that the lump is just flat out gone….
Also, these friends read this blog. Would you be so kind as to leave an encouraging word for them?? The baby’s name is Emma… All they are holding on to this moment is the prayers of God’s people. I know you are faithful prayer warriors and again, I beg you to ask God for deliverance from this trial.
I pray now,Father God, that you touch this family with your unfailing strength and power. Heal this baby & put protection around this whole family! In Jesus precious holy name, I ask amen

Been praying—please give us an update when you can.
Much love,

To all of you who have re-posted my bulletin and my blog, I thank you so much. To all of you who have prayed diligently and steadfast, I thank you! To all of you who came to visit in the hospital and at home, I thank you! To all of you who gave us hugs of encouragement and love, kind words and word of so many others praying for Emma, I thank you! My baby girls name has been lifted to the Lord by so many friends, family, NEW friends, and even people I do not know, and I thank you! It is in his hands, and I know his will will be done. This has been a trying few days, and Satan has tried to bring us down, but God’s greater! I am trying to stay strong and positive, and I must admit at times I fail, but I always pull it together for my baby girl! She needs me now more than ever. I promise to keep all of you posted on our progress with this challenge in our lives, but I ask you to please NEVER STOP PRAYING! Remember us, and continue to send encouraging words to us. You will never know how much a simple “we are praying for you”, or “we love you” can get us through
I ask you to pray for my husband as well as my baby girl. He is having a hard time, and it is my prayer that he becomes stronger in his faith through this awful time in our lives. He has been so strong for me so many times and I am trying to be strong for him now, but I have my moments as well. Emma is a fighter and she will come through this, and I believe God has big plans for my little girl. She will spread her story to everyone who will listen and God will have the glory!!! Please continue to pray for my family. I will keep you all updated. Thank you and we love you all!
Please pass this on to your friends as well, and let them know how much we appreciate the kind words and prayers! God will truly bless us all!!
With God’s Love,
Justin, Kelli, and Emma
i’m praying that in this season, as your hearts ask the painful question of “why?” that your heart will remain soft to the Lord and to your marriage…. i can’t imagine the pain of this experience, but i believe our God will be holding your family in His hands each step of the way.

I am praying for Emma and you and your husband!!
In Christ’s Love,

My prayers are with you. My church is praying too.
Another prayer just went up from Birmingham for Emma and her family. Hang in there…and Kelli, let the Lord be strong for you every now and then so you don’t have to be!
Dacula, GA is praying for your precious Emma. In fact, my daughter shares that name, so I’m asking the Father to bring YOU to mind each time I say the name. BTW – My doctor’s told my parents when I was 11 that test results showed a brain tumor. We went in for one more test – it was gone. Our God is still in the miracle business. I’m proof of it.
Anticipating HIM!

I’m praying for Emma. I have a six week old baby myself. I will use him as a reminder to pray for Emma daily. May we see God’s healing power upon baby Emma.
May the Lord keep and bless your family during this trying time. I will keep your family and little Emma in my prayers.
