Any Audio Visual Nerds Out There?
Hey Boys and Girls!
(Yes, I know there are boys out there….)
I need some help. I have a dvd with a slide presentation from our women’s ministry trip. I’m trying to figure out how I can get the content onto GodTube. Anyone know why it keeps telling me on the upload that it isn’t in a supported file type? Anyone know how I can get it to be a supported file type?
Would appreciate any help from my techno-savvy friends out there! :)
Oh dear. I wish I could help you, my bloggyville friend. However, when I read your post, all I read was blah blah blah blah.
Sorry. Not my forte.
Luck to ya, tho.
This is a little off topic, although still in the technology line, (sorry), but when I click on the “Click Here to Chat!” button, my computer won’t let me install whatever it is that needs to be installed because it thinks its a security risk because it can’t verify the publisher. Aaahh! Not that I understand any of that, but is there something I need to install before I can chat? What chat program are you using? I’d love to chat, but my computer won’t let me… :-)

Try posting it to youtube and see what happens. Might give you some more information.
I’ve been living in the jungle for years! I just learned about ‘support panty hose’ I know nothing about ‘supported files’ ! no help here.
Give me a shout and I might be able to help. Is the presentation a file (like PowerPoint?) or is the DVD one that you just pop in a DVD player and play on the tv? (There are different formats for the DVD).
Most of the time the files that are on a DVD that make it a DVD to play on tvs are not compatible with the stuff you have on computers. There are programs where you can ‘rip’ the DVD to an appropriate file type for use on your computer (ie. upload to YouTube or GodTube).
But give me a shout (lisab @ simplyhis.org) and I’ll try to help you figure it out.
Sorry, I’ve been having the same problems with You Tube.
I haven’t had those problems with YouTube and I’d imagine GodTube runs similarly. Can you re-save the movie in a different format or export it differently?
