Break or No Break…..
….I just have to show you how awesome my kid is!
This is the youth blacklight drama that our kids have been working on diligently for the past couple of months under the fearless leadership of Cheryl and Shaunta. I had never seen this type of production so I had no idea what to expect. I knew my oldest son had been working hard on something, but I hadn’t gone to any of the practices to know exactly what. To say I was blown away was an understatement. The live performance was powerful – to the point of making me burst into tears. I hope you find it just as shout-worthy! I can not say enough how incredibly proud I am of my boy and his friends!
(And if you are wondering, I’ll be back soon…:)
Awesome! I got chills watching it. Tell your son, he did an excellent job!
Merry Christmas!
Michelle
Wow, that is really neat! It’s amazing how ministry is changing and appealing to so many different people than it used to!
I have missed your posts! I’m looking forward to you coming back.
That is really neat. I’ll be in GA next week. We should try to get together!
Beautiful, Lisa. My mom’s heart rejoices with yours!
Shout-worthy indeed!
I’ve never seen anything like it. It blessed me so much. I’m posting a link back here.
Many blessings,

That was awesome. I love that song and what they did made it even better. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Certainly shout worthy! Awesome! thank you so much for sharing. We look forward to hearing from you again soon. Blessings….
I’m not even coherent. I’m bawling. Hubs just came in the room and freaked because something was wrong. What a joy to show him how RIGHT something is!
Please tell the kids and directors how blessed I am because of them. And because of HIM!
Robyn
Amazing! I’d never seen anything like it! Well done!
Tears here. That was amazing! Tell your son and the rest of the kids that they touched people they will never know. Bless you!

Beyond powerful!
Oh Lisa… That was SOOOO good!!
I usually cry at that awesome song as it is, but when you add the kids doing that…wow!
My hubby was watching with me and he was pretty impressed, too. Great job, guys!

Oh that was AMAZING! I have never seen this either, soooo touching. So excited for your son and his friends. I’m going to put it on my blog if you don’t mind.
I saw this about a year ago on youtube. It is awesome. I told my daughter that her group should do it or something similar, but she never did. Tell your son they did a wonderful job on it! It brought chills, tears and praise!
Your son is awesome! He is so easy to work with. I loved every single second! These kids have blessed me above and beyond what I ever imagined! I have watched this over and over. Can’t get enough. Thanks so much for adding this to your blog. Love You Girl!
Wow. That is so neat.
That is so cool!!!
Fearless? HA! I had fears everytime we practiced. Fear that it wouldn’t work out, fear that the kids would absolutely HATE me about half way through and decide not to do it again, but God put those fears at ease and let me know that it would all be alright and the kids wouldn’t hate me. I prayed for it to be good, but my prayers were fulfilled more than I ever imagined when it turned out GREAT! Your son is a doll. He was such a big help to Cheryl and I in getting this all together. I am so glad that he decided to join in and do this drama! Love you!
Which one was your kid?
Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
I totally crack myself up!
Seriously, that was great, and I linked to it today in my post on Putrescence. Really.
They did a great job! My daughter is in a similar group at our church and they did the same song back in November. You can check our video on my blog at http://isegui.blogspot.com/2008/11/swords-of-light.html. It takes a great deal of effort on the kids part to pull it off, ours also endured long rehearsals but at the end it paid off. Our congregation loved it!
