New Article at CWO!
I was so excited the other day to learn I’d won a Chronological Study Bible from my girlfriend Carrie’s blog, A New Heart. I’ve been drooling over them for quite some time and just couldn’t bring myself to make the purchase during the holidays.
In what ways are you being intentional about a closer walk with God in 2009? A CSB is just one of many tools to develop the intimate relationship with Him we all crave. I wrote a little article about that at CWO this month called, “Being a Well-Watered Woman.” I hope you will check it out! Aside from that, CWO’s editor Darlene has made lots of exciting format changes that I think you will love.
And yes, this is two posts in one day. Scroll down to sign up for the Spectacular Sin Book Club beginning soon!
I loved the article!! You are so right, when I don’t start my day off with God my day is awful.
I need to email you about a siesta question, what email would you like me to use? :O)
Lisa, in 2009 I am going to try to memorize (or seriously meditate on) two verses per month. Beth Moore issued this challenge on her LPM blog, and around 3,000 women have signed up so far. I’m wondering if you and some of your readers are in that group…
Oh, I just bought one for myself for Christmas (actually, it was from my cats – Ha!).
I look forward to digging deeper through this great tool.
May God continue to use you in mighty ways!
Lisa,
Great atricle over at CWO. You know there is a wonderful thing about beging the leader of a study. Just as you said. Thank you. Have a blessed 2009. I know the Lord has much in store for you. Hugs~
Very good article.

I am doing this Chronological Study with Wendy Pope from Proverb31 minstries Only 6 days into it and it’s great. Glad you’re doing it too.

I just got the Chronological Bible too, and started it with the Proverbs 31 group. I got the NIV verson though, and I’m loving it! I’m really looking forward to reading the Bible in this way!
Love ya!
p.s….thanks for the shout out on my giveaway!
I bought one last weekend, told my daughter about it and she bought herself one the next day! It is such a great reading experience – it really adds a lot.
